Nasanin Bahmani has a degree in political and islamic science and her interest in issues regarding data protection and data security began while she was still at university. She had
been following their development in German and European law and the influence they have on our society with rapt attention ever since.
After working at the German Federal Agency for Civic Education (bpb), she spent six years abroad. She initially worked as the Head of the IT Department at the German-Iranian Chamber of Commerce
in Tehran and later joined the German-Algerien Chamber of Commerce in Algiers as a legal and business consultant.
In 2013, Nasanin Bahmani founded bc digital in the German city of Münster – a consulting firm specialising in data protection, data security, digital strategy consulting, E-Health and IT
